Norton Public Library Activities

DIRECTOR OF THE NORTHWEST KANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM GEORGE SEAMON WILL BE DOING A SPECIAL PRESENTATION IN HONOR OF NATIONAL library WEEK TODAY AT THE NORTON PUBLIC LIBRARY.  HIS PRESENTATION WILL BE AT 10:30 DURING THE MORNING STORY TIME FEATURING A LIBRARY THEME.    THEN AT SEVEN TONIGHT, JOANNE EMERICK, FROM HOXIE WILL BE THE SPEAKER.  Emerick author of Courage Before Every Danger, Honor Before All Men  is the historian for the 31st Bomb Squadron. She spent 17 years compiling the stories, diaries and letters of more than 120 men from the squadron, including her father. Refreshments for each event will be provided by the Norton Friends of the Library!  The Norton Public Library will host an open house tomorrow.  CELEBRATE NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK WITH THE NORTHWEST KANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM, FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY AND THE NORTON PUBLIC LIBRARY.
