An Almena man will be sentenced at a later date in Norton CountyDistrict Court. Brandon Towery was charged with one count each of burglary and felony theft. Those charges are in connection with an alleged incident at the property owned by Ed Desbien between March 30th and April 21st of last year. The burglary charge was dismissed and Towery pled guilty to the felony theft. A pre-sentence report and criminal history will be done. Towery’s sentencing date will be set later, according to norton county attorney doug sebelius.
