A Norton man will be sentenced for amended charges in Norton County District Court. Richard Estes was originally charged with sale of a narcotic drug, in connection with an alleged July 12th incident. He was also charged with conspiracy and unlawful use of a communication facility. Those charges are in connection with an alleged July 21st incident. In a plea agreement, Estes pled guilty to one count of possession of a narcotic drug, a level four drug felony and conspiracy. the communication charge was dismissed. A pre-sentence report and criminal history will be done. Estes will be sentenced at the October 17th motion day, according to Norton County Attorney Doug Sebelius. Estes was released on a recognizance bond.
