THE GEOMETRIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON HIGHWAY 36 WILL HIGHLIGHT THE AGENDA FOR THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL TONIGHT.  JEROL DEBOER FROM PENCO ENGINEERING WILL DISCUSS WITH the COUNCIL THE OPTIONS AVAILABLE FOR THE PROJECT TO REPAIR HIGHWAY 36 WEST OF THE STOPLIGHT.  THE CITY IS the RECIPIENT OF A GEOMETRIC IMPROVEMENT GRANT FROM the KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION TO REPAIR THE HIGHWAY FROM THE STOPLIGHT WEST TO JUST BEFORE JONES STREET.  THE REPORTS FROM THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR, PUBLIC SAFETY AND UTILITY COMMITTEES WILL BE PRESENTED.  THE MEETING OF THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL BEGINS TONIGHT AT 5:30 IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF CITY HALL.  ALL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
