AN INMATE OF THE NORTON CORRECTIONAL FACILITY WILL APPEAR IN COURT NEXT WEEK FOR SEVERAL CHARGES.  THOMAS ANDREW WILHITE WAS CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT EACH OF TRAFFIC IN A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, TRAFFIC IN CONTRABAND-TOBACCO, AND POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE.  THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED OCTOBER 9TH INCIDENT.  WILHITE MADE HIS FIRST APPEARANCE JANUARY 20TH.  HIS PRELIMINARY HEARING HAS BEEN CONTINUED UNTIL FEBRUARY 21ST AT 10:30, ACCORDING TO MAGISTRATE JUDGE DEBRA ANDERSON.  WILHITE IS CURRENTLY BEING HELD ON 100 THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND.
