THE LIBRARY PROVIDES MANY SERVICES AND MOST OF THEM ARE FREE.  ONE OF THE NEWEST ITEMS AVAILABLE AT THE LIBRARY ARE VIDEO GAMES THAT ARE ABLE TO BE CHECKED OUT. THESE INCLUDE GAMES FOR XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 2, PLAYSTATION 3, AND WII GAMING SYSTEMS. A SERVICE THAT HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME ARE MAGAZINES FOR CHECK OUT. THE LIBRARY RECEIVES 47 DIFFERENT MAGAZINE TITLES AND YOU CAN CHECK THEM OUT FOR TWO WEEKS AT A TIME. OUR LIBRARY ALSO DELIVERS BOOKS TO HOMEBOUND PATRONS, TO THE NORTON MANOR AND TO WHISPERING PINES. THERE ARE 10 COMPUTERS WITH INTERNET SERVICE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. COURTESY OF RURAL TELEPHONE WE ALSO HAVE WIRELESS SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO BRING THEIR LAPTOPS AND OTHER DEVICES AND WANT TO USE THEM HERE.  CELEBRATE NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK THIS WEEK AT THE NORTON PUBLIC LIBRARY.
