THE WOMEN IN AG CONFERENCE FOR THE NORTHWEST KANSAS AREA WILL BE COMING UP ON FRIDAY AT THE IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH.  ATTENDEES HAVE THE CHOICE OF CHOOSING THE AFTERNOON TRACT FROM 2:30 TILL 7 OR THE EVENING TRACT FROM 4:30 TILL NINE.  BOTH SESSIONS WILL INCLUDE PRESENTATIONS FROM CRYSTAL BLIN, OWNER OF JJB CATTLE AND DOCTOR JEANNE ERIKSON, A MEDIATOR WITH THE KANSAS AGRICULTURAL MEDICATION SERVICES.  THE FOCUS OF THE CONFERENCE WILL BE ON COMMUNICATION.  A KC STRIP STEAK DINNER WILL BE SERVED FOR ATTENDEES OF BOTH TRACTS WITH KEYNOTE SPEAKER AND AGRICULTURE ADVOCATE 2011 MISS AMERICA TERESA SCANLAN.  THE COST TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE IS 20 DOLLARS BEFORE TOMORROW.  ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE WOMEN IN AG CONFERENCE CAN CONTACT PATSY MADDY AT THE NORTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU OR THE TWIN CREEKS EXTENSION DISTRICT.  FUNDING ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED BY THE KANSAS FARM BUREAU FOUNDATION FOR AG EDUCATION.  CONFERENCE COORDINATORS INCLUDE THE NORTON COUNTY FARM BUREAU, TWIN CREEKS EXTENSION, FARM SERVICE AGENCY, NORTON COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT AND WRAPS.  THE WOMEN IN AG CONFERENCE WILL BE FRIDAY AT THE IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH LOCATED WEST OF NORTON.  THE EARLY TRACT WILL BE FROM 2:30 TILL SEVEN WITH THE EVENING TRACT FROM 4:30 TILL NINE ON FRIDAY.
