A CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER WILL SPEND LIFE IN PRISON, ACCORDING TO KANSAS ATTORNEY GENERAL DEREK SCHMIDT. 42-YEAR-OLD BRADLEY TODD ANDERSON OF GLADE, WAS FOUND GUILTY BY A JURY IN DECEMBER OF FOUR COUNTS OF RAPE, TWO COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED INDECENT LIBERTIES WITH A CHILD, FIVE COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED CRIMINAL SODOMY AND ONE COUNT OF BATTERY. JUDGE PRESTON A. PRATT SENTENCED ANDERSON TO TWO CONSECUTIVE LIFE SENTENCES IN THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS. ANDERSON WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR PAROLE FOR 50 YEARS. THE CRIMES OCCURRED BETWEEN 2002 AND 2009. FOUR OF THE CHARGES WERE PROSECUTED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF JESSICA’S LAW. THE THREE VICTIMS WERE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 14 WHEN THE CRIMES WERE COMMITTED. THE CASE WAS PROSECUTED BY ASSISTANT ATTORNEY GENERAL CHRISTINE LADNER AND PHILLIPS COUNTY ATTORNEY DAVID BAUMGARTNER. THE PHILLIPS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CONDUCTED THE INVESTIGATION.
