A NORTON MAN WAS FOUND GUILTY AFTER AN APPEAL FROM NORTON MUNICIPAL COURT.  JASON MAJORS WAS CHARGED WITH DOMESTIC BATTERY IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED MARCH 7TH 2011 INCIDENT.  HE PLED NO CONTEST AND WAS FOUND GUILTY.  HE APPEALED THAT DECISION TO THE DISTRICT COURT AND A BENCH TRIAL WAS SET FOR APRIL 19TH.  AT THE TRIAL, MAJORS WAS FOUND GUILTY.  HE WAS SENTENCED TO 10 DAYS IN JAIL, SUSPENDED TO 6 MONTHS PROBATION.  HE WAS FINED 300 DOLLARS, COURT COSTS OF 76 AND ASSESSED WITNESS FEES OF 60 DOLLARS.  HE MUST HAVE NO CONTACT WITH CHAD SNYDER.  MAJORS MUST STAY OUT OF TROUBLE AND HAVE THE FEES PAID WITHIN 30 DAYS, ACCORDING TO NORTON COUNTY ATTORNEY DOUG SEBELIUS.
