AN ALMENA WOMAN PLED TO THREE OF FOUR CHARGES FILED AGAINST HER IN A PLEA AGREEMENT IN NORTON COUNTY MAGISTRATE COURT.  MELISSA GALVIN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT EACH OF FAILURE TO REPORT AN ACCIDENT, AND PERMITTING AN UNAUTHORIZED MINOR TO DRIVE.  SHE WAS ALSO CHARGED WITH GIVING FALSE INFORMATION ON REPORTING AN ACCIDENT AND EXPIRED REGISTRATION.  THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED JANUARY 15TH INCIDENT.  IN A PLEA AGREEMENT, SHE PLED GUILTY TO FAILURE TO REPORT AN ACCIDENT, PERMITTING AN UNDERAGE MINOR TO DRIVE AND EXPIRED REGISTRATION.  THE GIVING FALSE INFORMATION WAS DISMISSED.  SHE WAS SENTENCED TO 30 DAYS IN THE COUNTY JAIL ON ALL THREE CHARGES TO BE RUN CONCURRENTLY.  THE JAIL TIME WAS SUSPENDED AND GALVIN WAS ORDERED TO 12 MONTHS UNSUPERVISED PROBATION ON ALL THREE TO BE RUN CONCURRENTLY.  SHE WAS FINED 250 DOLLARS ON THE FAILURE TO REPORT CHARGE, 100 DOLLARS ON THE MINOR CHARGE AND 75 DOLLARS FOR THE EXPIRED REGISTRATION.  GALVIN WAS ASSESSED COURT COSTS OF 98 AND COURT APPOINTED ATTORNEY FEES, ACCORDING TO MAGISTRATE JUDGE DEBRA ANDERSON.
