A HAYS MAN WILL BE ON A DIVERSION AGREEMENT FOR TWO YEARS FOR SEVERAL CHARGES IN NORTON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT.  CAMERON BURD WAS CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT EACH OF FELONY THEFT, A LEVEL NINE NON-PERSON FELONY AND BURGLARY, A LEVEL 7 NON-PERSON FELONY.  THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED SEPTEMBER 16TH INCIDENT.  HE WAS ALSO CHARGED WITH MISDEMEANOR THEFT.  THAT CHARGE IS IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED SEPTEMBER 27TH INCIDENT.  HE APPLIED FOR AND WAS GRANTED A 24 MONTH DIVERSION AGREEMENT.  BURD WAS ORDERED TO PAY RESTITUTION TO MARK MCCARTNEY OF 2,530 DOLLARS, DIVERSION FEE OF 200, COURT COSTS OF 195 AND COURT APPOINTED ATTORNEY FEES, ACCORDING TO NORTON COUNTY ATTORNEY DOUG SEBELIUS.
