THE UPDATE ON THE NORTON POOL AND THE PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION WILL BE ITEMS FOR THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL TONIGHT. THE POOL COMMITTEE MET WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF AQUATIC DESIGN LAST WEEK ABOUT THE POOL. THEY WILL REPORT ON THE FINDINGS FROM THE SURVEY AND THE PLANS FOR THE POOL. THE FINALIZATION OF THE POOL PROJECT FEATURES, SCOPE AND BUDGET WILL BE PRESENTED. THE PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION ORDINANCE WILL BE PRESENTED FOR THIRD READING TO FORM THE P.B.C. THIS WILL BE FOR THE FINANCING OF THE BONDS FOR THE POOL. THE APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS AND OFFICERS WILL BE TONIGHT. THE REPORTS FROM THE PERSONNEL, PUBLIC SAFETY AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR WILL BE PRESENTED. THE MAYOR WILL MAKE A RECOMMENDATION FOR THE CITY’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AT-LARGE POSITION TONIGHT. CITY ATTORNEY KAREN GRIFFITHS WILL PRESENT A REQUEST FROM THE HOSPITAL TO ADD A STREET ADJACENT TO THE HOSPITAL TO THE EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTE. SHE WILL ALSO PRESENT A REQUEST FROM THE AIRPORT BOARD TO UPDATE THE ORDINANCE ON BULK STORAGE OF FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS. A REQUEST FOR A PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING TO ADDRESS ZONING REGULATIONS WILL BE PRESENTED. THE MEETING OF THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL BEGINS TONIGHT AT 5:30 IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF CITY HALL. ALL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
