A COLORADO MAN WILL APPEAR FOR A PRELIMINARY HEARING IN AUGUST IN NORTON COUNTY MAGISTRATE COURT. AUSTIN NOYES OF FORT COLLINS WAS CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT OF POSSESSION WITH THE INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE DRUGS, A LEVEL THREE DRUG FELONY AND NO TAX STAMP A LEVEL 10 NON PERSON FELONY. THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED MAY 19TH INCIDENT. NOYES MADE HIS FIRST APPEARANCE JUNE 6TH. HIS PRELIMINARY HEARING WAS SET FOR LAST WEDNESDAY BUT HAS BEEN CONTINUED UNTIL AUGUST 16TH AT 1:30, ACCORDING TO MAGISTRATE JUDGE DEBRA ANDERSON. NOYES IS CURRENTLY OUT OF JAIL ON 100 THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND.
