THE UPDATE ON THE HOUSING WORKSHOP AND THE VISIT BY A U.S. SENATOR’S REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE ITEMS FOR THE NORTON CITY COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD TONIGHT. DIRECTOR SCOTT SPROUL WILL UPDATE THE BOARD ON THE KANSAS HOUSING RESOURCES CORPORATION WORKSHOP HE ATTENDED LAST MONTH. THEY WILL ALSO BE UPDATED ON THE VISIT BY U.S. SENATOR PAT ROBERT’S REPRESENTATIVE RYAN FLICKNER YESTERDAY. THE RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE MEETING TIMES AND PLACE WILL BE PRESENTED. THE BOARD WILL BE UPDATED ON THE RURAL OPPORTUNITY ZONE THAT HAS BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL FOR THE NORTON COUNTY AREA. THE UPDATE ON THE DOCTOR LYON’S HOUSE AND THE HEATON BUILDING WILL BE PRESENTED. THE COMMISSION ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE BOARD AND THE STRATEGIC PLANNING GROUP WILL BE ADDRESSED. THE MEETING OF THE NORTON CITY COUNTY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BOARD WILL BE AT 5:30 TONIGHT IN THE OFFICE AT 205 SOUTH STATE STREET. ALL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
