AN INMATE OF THE NORTON CORRECTIONAL FACILITY WAS SENTENCED AT THE JUNE MOTION DAY IN NORTON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT.  MATHEW SCHROEDER WAS CHARGED WITH TRAFFIC IN CONTRABAND IN A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY, A LEVEL FIVE NON-PERSON FELONY AND POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, A LEVEL FOUR DRUG FELONY.  THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED FEBRUARY THIRD, 2011 INCIDENT.  IN A CHANGE OF PLEA, SCHROEDER PLED GUILTY TO TRAFFIC IN CONTRABAND AND THE FELONY POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WAS DISMISSED.  HE WAS SENTENCED TO 32 MONTHS WITH THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS TO BE SERVED CONSECUTIVELY WITH HIS MCPHERSON COUNTY CASE, ACCORDING TO NORTON COUNTY ATTORNEY DOUG SEBELIUS.  SCHROEDER WAS ASSESSED A KBI LAB FEE OF 400, COURT COSTS OF 195 AND A BOOKING FEE OF 45.
