THE RESOLUTION TO CALL FOR A SALES TAX QUESTION TO BE ADDED TO THE BALLOT WILL BE TAKEN UP BY THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL TONIGHT.  AT THE LAST MEETING, THE COUNCIL WAS EXPECTING TO HAVE AN ORDINANCE PRESENTED FOR THREE READINGS TO GIVE THE PUBLIC ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO TALK ABOUT THE SALES TAX QUESTION.  THE RESOLUTION WILL BE ADDRESSED TONIGHT.  ALSO ON THE AGENDA IS THE UNIFORM PUBLIC OFFENSE CODE AND THE STANDARD TRAFFIC ORDINANCE.  THE COUNCIL WILL CONSIDER A TRANSFER FROM THE ELECTRIC FUND TO THE BOND AND INTEREST FUND FOR THE WASHINGTON SQUARE IMPROVEMENTS BOND AND INTEREST PAYMENT.  THE ORDINANCE DEALING WITH TAX REVENUES FOR 2013 AND THE PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCES WILL BE PRESENTED.  THE REPORT FROM THE AIRPORT BOARD AND THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR WILL BE PRESENTED.  THE MEETING OF THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL  BEGINS TONIGHT AT 5:30 IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF CITY HALL.  ALL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
