AN ALMENA MAN WILL HAVE AN ARRAIGNMENT NEXT MONTH IN NORTON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT.  KENNETH COMPTON HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF DISTRIBUTING MARIJUANA WITHIN 1000 FEET OF A SCHOOL IN CONNECTION WITH ALLEGED INCIDENTS ON JUNE FIRST AND FOURTH.  HE WAS ALSO CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS UNLAWFUL USE OF A COMMUNICATION FACILITY, WHICH ALLEGEDLY OCCURRED ON JUNE FIRST AND 4TH AND TWO COUNTS OF NO DRUG TAX STAMP, IN CONNECTION WITH ALLEGED INCIDENTS ON JUNE FOURTH.  COMPTON MADE HIS FIRST APPEARANCE JUNE 7TH.  AT HIS PRELIMINARY HEARING ON AUGUST 7TH, HE WAIVED HIS RIGHT TO A HEARING.  HE WAS BOUND OVER FOR ARRAIGNMENT AT THE SEPTEMBER 10TH MOTION DAY, ACCORDING TO MAGISTRATE JUDGE DEBRA ANDERSON.
