Roll Over Accident

THREE YOUNG MEN WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN A ONE VEHICLE ROLL OVER ACCIDENT YESTERDAY (WEDNESDAY) IN SHERIDAN COUNTY.  A 2002 PONTIAC FIREBIRD, DRIVEN BY 17 YEAR OLD COLTEN WACHENDORFER OF SELDEN WAS NORTHBOUND ON K-23 HIGHWAY.  HE FAILED TO STOP AT THE STOP SIGN AND ENTERED THE K-123 INTERSECTION, WHERE IT WENT INTO A BROADSIDE SKID.  THE FIREBIRD THEN WENT INTO THE DITCH NORTH OF K-123 AND ROLLED, COMING TO REST ON ITS WHEELS.  WACHENDORFER AND HIS PASSENGERS 18 YEAR OLD JESSE MUMM OF VIAN OKLAHOMA AND 17 YEAR OLD JAIME LABRADO WERE ALL TAKEN TO THE SHERIDAN COUNTY HEALTH COMPLEX IN HOXIE AND THEN LIFE FLIGHTED TO A HOSPITAL IN WICHITA.  WACHENDORFER WAS NOT WEARING A SEAT BELT BUT THE OTHER TWO WERE.  THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED AT 9:45 LAST (WEDNESDAY) NIGHT 14 MILES NORTH OF HOXIE, ACCORDING TO THE KANSAS HIGHWAY PATROL REPORT.
