A NORTON MAN HAD HIS COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS REVOKED IN NORTON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT.  FRANKIE LANE STEVENS WAS CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT OF THEFT BY DECEPTION.  THAT CHARGE IS IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED MAY 20TH INCIDENT.  STEVENS PLED GUILTY TO THE CHARGE.  HE WAS SENTENCED TO 12 MONTHS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, SUSPENDED TO 12 MONTHS OF PROBATION WITH COURT SERVICES AND 12 MONTHS OF POST RELEASE SUPERVISION.  HE VIOLATED THE TERMS OF THE COURT SERVICES AND WAS ORDERED TO ENTER COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SENTENCE.  HE VIOLATED THE TERMS OF COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS AND WAS ORDERED TO SERVE THE ORIGINAL TERM OF 12 MONTHS WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS.  THE SENTENCE FOR STEVENS’ MISDEMEANOR BATTERY CHARGE WAS ALSO MODIFIED DUE TO HIS FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THOSE REQUIREMENTS.  IT WAS MODIFIED TO TIME SERVED.  STEVENS WAS GIVEN 190 DAYS JAIL CREDIT, ACCORDING TO NORTON COUNTY ATTORNEY DOUG SEBELIUS.
