Power Outage

THE CITY OF NORTON WILL HAVE A PLANNED POWER OUTAGE BEGINNING THIS EVENING FROM 11:00 P.M. TO 3:00 A.M. ON TOMORROW MORNING FOR SPECIFIED AREAS. THIS OUTAGE IS IN ORDER FOR THE CITY CREWS TO WORK ON A SUBSTATION. THE AREAS AFFECTED ARE: THE NORTH SIDE OF HIGHWAY 36, FROM EISENHOWER EAST, WEST CRANE STREET THE ODD NUMBERS OF THE 500 BLOCK, NORTH FIRST STREET, THE EVEN NUMBERS OF 400 THROUGH 700 BLOCKS, NORTH FIRST STREET, ODD NUMBERS OF 700 AND 800 BLOCKS. ALSO WITHOUT POWER TONIGHT WILL BE ON NORTH SECOND STREET, THE ODD NUMBERS OF 400 THROUGH 700 BLOCKS, NORTH STATE STREET, ODD NUMBERS OF 300 THROUGH 700 BLOCKS, NORTH STATE STREET, EVEN NUMBERS OF 600 AND 700 BLOCKS, NORTH NORTON AVENUE, THE 300 THROUGH 800 BLOCKS, NORTH KANSAS AVENUE, THE 300 BLOCK, AND NORTH WABASH AVENUE, THE EVEN NUMBERS OF 300 THROUGH 900 BLOCKS. THE BUSINESSES IN THE AREA HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE OUTAGE AND THE CITY IS URGING ALL RESIDENTS IN THOSE AREAS TO MAKE THE NECESSARY ARRANGEMENTS FOR THIS POWER OUTAGE.
