TWO NORTON MEN HAVE HAD THEIR ARRAIGNMENT FOR WILDLIFE VIOLATIONS IN NORTON COUNTY COURT.  DWIGHT SPRIGG AND TIMOTHY SPRIGG HAVE BOTH BEEN CHARGED WITH HUNTING TURKEY WITH THE AID OF A VEHICLE, FAILURE TO TAG A TURKEY, HUNTING TURKEY WITHOUT A VALID PERMIT AND WANTON WASTE.  THE FIRST THREE CHARGES ARE BIG GAME VIOLATIONS AND THE WANTON WASTE IS AN UNCLASSED MISDEMEANOR.  THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED NOVEMBER 9TH INCIDENT.  BOTH SPRIGGS HAD THEIR ARRAIGNMENT AND PLED NOT GUILTY.  THEIR BENCH TRIAL IS SET FOR JANUARY FOURTH, ACCORDING TO NORTON COUNTY ATTORNEY DOUG SEBELIUS.
