THE SOLOMON VALLEY RURAL FIRE DISTRICT OF LENORA IS THE RECIPIENT OF A $5,224 DUPONT PIONEER GRANT THAT WILL COVER THE COSTS OF RADIO EQUIPMENT UPGRADES FOR THEIR RURAL FIRE DEPARTMENT.   THESE FUNDS WILL ALLOW THE DEPARTMENT TO CONTINUE UPGRADING AND EXPANDING THE FIRE DEPARTMENT’S RADIO COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY AVAILABLE.  PIONEER MAKES CONTRIBUTIONS TO COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS ON BEHALF OF THE BUSINESS AND EMPLOYEES. CONSIDERATION FOR COMMUNITY OUTREACH GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO COMMUNITIES WHERE PIONEER REPRESENTATIVES, EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS LIVE AND WORK AND THAT SUPPORT QUALITY-OF-LIFE INITIATIVES TO CREATE AN IMPROVED, SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE FOR.
