THE UPDATE ON THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE ITEMS FOR THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL TONIGHT. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR SCOTT SPROUL WILL PRESENT HIS SEMI ANNUAL REPORT TO THE COUNCIL ABOUT THE ACTIVITIES AND THE SUCCESSES OF THE OFFICE. ALSO, JON KEISWETTER HAS REQUESTED A HEARING WITH THE COUNCIL ON A NOTICE AND ORDER OF VIOLATION ISSUES FOR 408 SOUTH STREET. THE COUNCIL WILL BE ASKED TO CONSIDER THE PURCHASE OF A GRASSHOPPER MOWER BY STATE BID TONIGHT. THE REPORTS FROM THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, PUBLIC WORKS AND TRAVEL AND TOURISM WILL BE PRESENTED. THE COUNCIL WILL CONSIDER A DONATION TO THE NORTON POST PROM. THE MEETING OF THE NORTON CITY COUNCIL BEGINS TONIGHT AT 5:30 IN THE COUNCIL ROOM OF CITY HALL. ALL MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
