AN ALMENA WOMAN WAS SENTENCED FOR SEVERAL CHARGES IN NORTON COUNTY DISTRICT COURT. DIANE DANTANO WAS CHARGED WITH ONE COUNT EACH OF BURGLARY, AND THEFT.  THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED OCTOBER 13TH INCIDENT.  DANTANO ENTERED INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT WITH THE COUNTY ATTORNEY’S OFFICE TO PLEAD GUILTY TO BURGLARY AND THE THEFT CHARGE WAS DISMISSED.  SHE WAS SENTENCED TO 27 MONTHS WITH THE KANSAS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS, ASSESSED A DNA DATABASE FEE OF 200, COURT COSTS OF 195, BOOKING FEE OF 45 AND RESTITUTION TO THE VICTIM, ACCORDING TO NORTON COUNTY ATTORNEY DOUG SEBELIUS.
