TWO NORTON MEN WILL HAVE A BENCH TRIAL IN MAY IN NORTON COUNTY MAGISTRATE COURT. DWIGHT SPRIGG AND TIMOTHY SPRIGG HAVE BOTH BEEN CHARGED WITH HUNTING TURKEY WITH THE AID OF A VEHICLE, FAILURE TO TAG A TURKEY, HUNTING TURKEY WITHOUT A VALID PERMIT AND WANTON WASTE.  THE FIRST THREE CHARGES ARE BIG GAME VIOLATIONS AND THE WANTON WASTE IS AN UNCLASSED MISDEMEANOR.  THOSE CHARGES ARE IN CONNECTION WITH AN ALLEGED NOVEMBER 9TH INCIDENT.   THEIR BENCH TRIAL HAS BEEN CONTINUED UNTIL MAY 15TH AND 16TH, ACCORDING TO NORTON COUNTY ATTORNEY DOUG SEBELIUS.
