Update on Boy in Fiery I-70 Crash

An update on the condition of the 9-year old Aurora, Colorado boy who was pulled from a burning vehicle on I-70 late last week. Jonah Turner has been updated to fair condition at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is reporting that the accident was caused by mechanical problems with the 2003 Cadillac Escalade Turner and 4-family members were riding in.

The vehicle swerved off the roadway and slammed into the back of a trailer and semi parked on the shoulder of the roadway.

Jonah Turner was removed from the burning vehicle by several people who had stooped to provide assistance.

Two adult family members and two older brothers died in the wreck which took place on Interstate 70 about 8-miles north of Ellsworth.
