Dan Mitchell - Mornings 5-9 AM
Hey, Dan Mitchell here…Husband of one (Kathleen)…Father of two (Bobby
and Sarah) and holder of Masters Degrees in (music of 60’s…70’s…and 80’s) It’s a
daily musical adventure here on Classic Hits KQNK…and I am thrilled to be your
guide. When I’m not on the air I like geography and playing basketball. Let’s
hook up on the radio!

I’m your work-day host, and when not on the radio, I like biking, hiking and
camping, plus I paint, play the piano and dance on inline skates! The last book
I read was the classic “Another Roadside Attraction” by Tom Robbins.
“Pictionary” is my favorite board game and Pink Floyd is my favorite band. Itty
Tina is my lucky little black cat, recently rescued from oncoming traffic.
Hi, I’m Sky, a lucky guy who grew up in a home filled with music. At
Classic Hits KQNK, I get to play many of my favorite artists and songs for
you…and, being a bit of a music history buff, it’s fun to be able to tell the
stories behind the stars and their hits. I’m also a major architecture and
design freak, plus I like lifting weights, skiing and hiking.
I’m an Americanized Swedish/Filipino and the proud wife of my husband, Toby
who’s a Fireman. Plus I’m “mom” to my pre-school aged son Landon, dog Loki and
cat Ernie. I love to travel, entertain, and never miss an opportunity to start a
new home improvement project (for my husband to finish) or shop for a new pair
of shoes. I also hate to admit it, but I’m hooked on reality TV, so I put my DVR
to good use!
A.K.A. “Tooch,” I’m your late night/early morning guy! I grew up
singing doo-wop on the streets of Brooklyn, which explains why I get goose bumps
when I hear a song with tight harmonies. I like to think of myself as a highly
capable Italian chef, and on the job I’m always joking around about how short I
am. Self-deprecation aside, I’m also a black belt, so few tease me about my
stature, especially the really tall guys!
