Chadron State kicker picks up RMAC special teams honors

Chadron State kicker Randy Wentz was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week. Wentz, a sophomore from Scottsbluff went 2-for-2 in Chadron State’s 40-7 victory over Western State Colorado University Saturday, including a career-best 47 yarder. Nebraska kicker injured in a motorcycle accident

21-year old Mauro Bondi, a kicker for the Nebraska football team, suffered a broken collarbone after he crashed his motorcycle Thursday night in Lincoln. Lincoln police report that around 6:30 p.m., Bondi was traveling west on Alvo Road when he couldn’t handle a turn.  Bondi’s motorcycle hit a curb and then went off the road.  A person in […] Read More »
